In the eleven tracks of Fresh Frozen a dualism between past (frozen) and present (fresh) manifests itself in all its ambivalence: writing and improvisation are claimed and radicalised, thesis and antithesis of a synthesis that the musicians pursue in every composition.

In the project Fresh-Frozen, the musicians leave no room for melodic concessions, and do not compromise on the harmonic or formal aspects of the music. The rigor of thought and contrapuntal writing and the strict principles of compositional construction contrast with the need to exit the path, to thaw the material. Never with the "muscular" aggression of the rebel, but with the slight irreverence of intelligence and irony.
